What to Do After the Rescue (First Aid/Evacuation)
Women's Ski/Splitboard Mountaineering (Weekend)
This 2 Day Course is a comprehensive, hands-on progression designed to build confidence, awareness, and flow in big terrain.
It’s about mastering the how, when, and where of movement in steep, complex mountain terrain — and then applying those skills in real time, in a supportive environment, under the guidance of a professional female guide, and with other capable women.
Day 1: We learn the skills in benign terrain: self arrest, walking in crampons, when, where and how to set the bootpack, skiing and riding with an ice axe, skiing and riding in steep terrain, and more.
Day 2:We’re going on a tour and getting into terrain, but by way of an approachable progression. We’ll gradually increase steepness and exposure, and practice our skillset in real ski/splitboard mountaineering terrain.

Shasta ski touring and splitboarding around the mountain. Expect 2,000’ - 4,000’ of vert each day, spread out over a couple of runs. This trip will also include a half day ski/splitboard mountaineering & snow safety skills course.

Mt. Shasta - 3 Night/4 Day Women’s Ski/Splitboard Glacial Skills Course

We’ll put our skills into practice, skiing and riding in glaciated terrain, and going for a summit attempt!

This trip is for intermediate to advanced backcountry skier/splitboarders. We’ll move at a moderate, steady pace of about 1000’ per hour, taking breaks every hour. Terrain options for this trip include moderate to steep slopes up to 45 degrees. Most slopes are above treeline, open panels or alpine bowls.
Expect 2000’ - 4000’ of vert each day, including summit day.
Mt. Shasta - Women's Summit Ski/Splitboard (3 Day - Weekend)
$1,360.00
MAY 29 - 31, 2026
If summiting Mt. Shasta is a goal of yours, and you’d like to do that with a group of strong, supportive women, this is the trip for you! This trip is summit focused, route choice TBD on conditions, by way of skis/splitboard. We’ll spend 2 nights and 3 days on Mt. Shasta, acclimating, enjoying views, skiing/riding, and then spend a big day going for the summit!
Summit day starts in the wee hours of the morning. A tough wake up - but what beats skinning high on a volcano beneath the stars? Catching all shades of sunrise as you climb higher and higher? And then after you’ve reached the summit, getting to SKI/SPLITBOARD back down?! Not much is the correct answer.
If you’re driven, fit, and a strong skier/rider (comfortable on skiing/riding black runs off the groomers), this summit focused adventure with the gals is for you!
