Eastside Classics - Advanced Women’s Weekend
This weekend is for the gals ready to level up and take on bigger, steeper lines via a progression that feels supportive, safe, and totally doable.
If you want to play in the steeps, you need your avalanche rescue skills dialed. We’ll kick things off on Friday with a rescue refresher—reviewing the fundamentals and running realistic scenarios both individually and as a team.
Saturday is all about movement mastery in steep terrain. We’ll fine-tune efficiency on the up and down, learn when and how to set a bootpack, practice self-arrest techniques, and build confidence skiing and riding the steeps while deep in the wilderness. We’ll start in low-consequence terrain so everyone can progress safely and steadily.
Sunday, we’ll take our growth to an Eastside Classic (conditions dependent). Some sort of mega alpine bowl, or granite hallway overlooking the high desert. We’ll go up and down for thousands of feet at a moderate but steady pace. It’ll be a day you won’t soon forget, and will leave you feeling inspired for your next big line.
Apres includes:
Ski/Snowboard specific Yoga with a certified Yoga Instructor
Evening Workshop: Working with Fear && Humility in Backcountry Progressions
