Cancellation Policies / Trip Insurance

We recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your purchase from unforeseeable circumstances. If you wish to cancel your trip for any reason, a request must be made in writing via EMAIL.

GENERAL: 

  • Trips/Courses: A 25% deposit is required upon registration to reserve your spot. You’re welcome to pay in full.

  • Deposit is refundable minus an admin fee until 60 days before trip departure.

  • Full trip payment is due 60 DAYS before the trip

  • After 60 days, refund (minus admin fee) is only possible if we are able to transfer the spot to another capable individual. 

  • Tours: Payment in full is due upon registration to reserve your spot.

  • After 60 days, refund (minus admin fee) is only possible if we are able to transfer the spot to another capable individual. 

TRIP INSURANCE can be purchased to help cover the trip fees and other costs incurred under the policy. Regardless of which plan you purchase, make sure you have adequate coverage. Tracks of Her Own is not responsible for poor weather and bad and or closed road conditions. We run trips in inclement weather! Unless specifically canceled, please assume the trip will run and arrive at the program venue on time.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to reschedule, alter the trip’s itinerary, or cancel the trip. Trip cancellation is the last resort and every effort will be made to run the trip in some facility.

Completion of Payment implies you agree to the terms of these cancellation policies, and understand the risks associated with not purchasing trip insurance. Completion of Payment implies you agree to our Terms of Service. Completion of payment implies you will show up to the course, tour or event with the expected gear, and having filled out the necessary waivers. Failure to do so on account of the customer may bar them from participation, which is of no fault and no responsibility of Tracks of Her Own. Tracks of Her Own may refuse the right to serve.
