Women’s Weekend Events

Group of people snowshoeing in a snowy forest under a clear blue sky.

Because one day is never enough.

A weekend of backcountry skills and progression gives us the time and space to move, learn, explore, and laugh together, building real foundations , real connections, and real confidence.

It’s just enough time to form a solid foundation of skills you can keep practicing on your own, and to build the kind of community and support that only grows when we spend multiple days in the mountains together. Come & see for yourself…

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No worries! We have limited rentals available for an additional cost. Whatever we don’t have - we’ll direct you to the best shop in town to make sure you’re ready for the weekend ahead.

  • If you’re psyched, but only have 2 days to allocate to a course like this - reach out! You will miss out on the Avalanche Rescue portion of this event, but are welcome to join for the remainder of the weekend at a reduced cost.

  • If you have 0 Backcountry experience, we encourage you to sign up for our beginner backcountry weekend! We just ask that your skiing/snowboard ability is at a level where you feel confident riding blue runs at the resort, both on and off the groomer.

  • We explain the pre-requisites (confident ski/riding black runs @ resort // moderate to excellent fitness // 10 tours under your belt) but ultimately, everyone is different. If you’re interested in this event but have doubts, reach out, and we’d be happy to help guide you towards what’s right for you.

  • Sunday of the Advanced Weekend will be an extended tour day, and so we need to account for that. Due to the nature of the event, it requires a higher level of risk and guiding ability (higher certification/more experienced guide), which we also need to accommodate :).
