Women's Summit Ski/Splitboard (2 Day)

$990.00

MAY 19 - 20, 2026

If summiting Mt. Shasta is a goal of yours, and you’d like to do that with a group of strong, supportive women, this is the trip for you! This 2 day trip is summit focused, route choice TBD on conditions, by way of skis/splitboard. This “quick hit” of the Mt. Shasta summit requires excellent fitness!

We’ll spend day one hiking with our gear from 7000’ - 9500/10,000’. We’ll have an abridged ski/splitboard mountaineering refresher course in the afternoon, and then head to bed early as summit day starts well before dawn.

A tough wake up is rewarded - what beats skinning high on a volcano beneath the stars? Catching all shades of sunrise as you climb higher and higher? And then after you’ve reached the summit, getting to SKI/SPLITBOARD back down?! Not much is the correct answer.

After summiting and skiing/boarding back to camp, we’ll pack up camp and head back to the trailhead. We’ll celebrate with a meal at our favorite place in town!

If you have the flexibility, midweek adventures are often a much more intimate experience, as fewer folks are out on the mountain.

**Ski terrain includes open slopes up to 35 degrees, in addition to up to 1500’ of sustained steep skiing between 35 and 40 degrees.
