3-Day Beginner Backcountry Ski/Splitboard & Avalanche Rescue Course
Build a solid foundation for backcountry travel with three days of female led, hands-on instruction in the mountains. Spend two days touring, learning to use the gear, learning route selection, uphill travel techniques, terrain assessment, and backcountry decision-making. One full day is dedicated to avalanche rescue skills, including beacon searches, probing, shoveling, and realistic rescue scenarios.
This weekend is designed for skiers and splitboarders new to the backcountry who want to develop the skills and confidence to travel beyond the resort boundary.
Led by a female AMGA trained/certified guide and certified avalanche instructor.
